Fall is a great time for RV adventures! We’re sharing a few of our favourite Fall RVing destinations across Canada.
E.C. Manning Provincial Park, BC
Situated within the Cascade Mountains, E.C. Manning Provincial Park presents remarkable autumn foliage. Activities include canoeing, kayaking, and paddleboarding on Lightning Lake, plus hiking to Mount Frosty to observe golden larch trees and night skies. The location features four drive-in campgrounds.
Dinosaur Provincial Park Campground, Alberta
Located in southern Alberta’s badlands, this park encompasses Canada’s largest and most striking badlands terrain. Visitors can explore dramatic hoodoos and the tranquil Red Deer River on foot. The site served as a significant repository of dinosaur and vertebrate fossils, earning UNESCO World Heritage designation in 1979 due to its distinctive geology. The park provides over 120 RV-compatible campsites with various amenity options.
Moose Mountain Provincial Park, Saskatchewan
Among Saskatchewan’s earliest provincial parks, this destination features extensive trails, scenic lake vistas, and year-round family activities. Birch and poplar woodlands create striking autumn landscapes. Overnight stays are permitted throughout October.
Rondeau Provincial Park, Ontario
This park offers 11 kilometres of Lake Erie shoreline, expansive wetlands, and one of Ontario’s few remaining old-growth Carolinian forest sections. Bird enthusiasts will appreciate over 360 documented bird species in the area. Accommodations are available through mid-November.
Kejimkujik National Park, Nova Scotia
Visitors can experience Atlantic coastal scenery, paddle historic waterways, hike forested routes, and enjoy seaside activities during autumn months. Lodging operates until October’s conclusion annually.
